RENO, Nev.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Nox Group, a hyper-scale industrial builder, is making a new home in Reno through a major data center development, driving investment in the region’s workforce as it enters one of the country’s most sought-after markets for mission-critical infrastructure.

Nox Group is one of the fastest-growing construction enterprises in the United States with four operating companies, including electrical contractor Corbins, which specializes in the design, installation and buildout of mission-critical facilities across semiconductor, microchip, automotive, advanced manufacturing, data centers, and water and wastewater treatment. Nox Group currently employs 180 people in Nevada through Corbins and expects to reach approximately 250 total team members by year’s end, with continued hiring across skilled craft, operations and support functions.

The Nevada operation is led by Corbins Vice President of Operations Lane Moore, a longstanding and highly respected industrial construction leader whose nearly three decades of experience include building some of the country’s most technically demanding production facilities and infrastructure environments. Moore brings significant local experience as well, having previously helped develop one of the world’s largest advanced manufacturing campuses built in Northern Nevada.

“Reno has quickly become one of the most important construction markets in the country for mission-critical infrastructure,” said Moore. “The projects happening here require teams that know how to manage complexity at scale. Nox Group brings that depth of experience, and we’re focused on building a strong local team that can deliver for customers and grow with this region.”

Looking ahead, Nox Group expects strong demand for data center and mission-critical infrastructure projects as technology investment accelerates across the Southwest. The Reno expansion also enables the company’s broader enterprise — including RMCI, Nox Innovations and Construction Labels — to support regional projects through water infrastructure development, virtual construction and prefabrication, and specialized labeling services.

“The Reno-Sparks region is experiencing extraordinary momentum right now,” said Nox Group President and Chief Operating Officer Greg Ayres. “We’re seeing demand for digital infrastructure at a scale that could make this one of North America’s most important data center markets. Expanding here allows our people to grow into that opportunity while helping our customers bring critical infrastructure online.”

Nox Group is headquartered in Phoenix, and it has a fast-growing presence in San Marcos, Texas. Ayres asserts the company is committed to investing in the local communities where it expands.

“Our approach has always been to grow alongside the communities we serve,” said Ayres. “Beyond project delivery, we’re focused on contributing to the region’s continued evolution as a hub for advanced industry and innovation.”
