USAA Members Benefit From ~$3.7 Billion in Financial Rewards in 2025

Record Amount Underscores Associationโ€™s Commitment to Military Families

SAN ANTONIO–(BUSINESS WIRE)–USAA members are receiving approximately $3.7 billion in financial rewards in 2025 โ€” the largest amount returned to members in USAAโ€™s 103-year history. Last year, members received $2.2 billion in financial rewards.

The announcement follows USAAโ€™s initiative to provide its members with nearly $450 million in zero-interest loans, payment extensions and fee waivers during the recent government shutdown. In November, the Association also launched Honor Through Action, a five-year, $500 million initiative to support military family resiliency by bringing together public, private, and nonprofit partners to drive systemic change around three key pillars: meaningful careers, financial security, and overall well-being.

โ€œWe are committed to putting our members at the center of all we do and every decision we make,โ€ said Juan C. Andrade, President and CEO of USAA. โ€œSharing our financial results with our members reflects our responsibility to deliver strong value and exceptional service for the military community. We are taking action every day to help keep costs down and protect the long-term value of membership. Our members have sacrificed for our nation, and they deserve our very best.โ€

This record amount in financial rewards is possible because of USAAโ€™s financial discipline, which ensure the Association remains financially sound while continuing to deliver value to members. It is also a result of proactive steps USAA and members have taken to prevent losses.

โ€œEnsuring our members benefit from our financial strength is critical,โ€ Andrade added. โ€œWe will continue to push for reforms that address the broader factors increasing insurance costs for consumers.โ€

The Association has focused on stabilizing auto rates. USAA auto insurance rate changes have been lower on average than competitors and the broader industry, with members saving an average of ~$100 annually per policy. Rates are expected to continue to stabilize in 2026. Rates can vary due to a number of factors such as claims trends, state trends and a membersโ€™ driving record.

Just as USAAโ€™s government shutdown relief did, the rewards and rate stabilization support military families. To help members save on their insurance premiums, we offer bundling and discount programs, including USAA SafePilotยฎ, which saves members an average of over $230, and Connected Home, for early water leak detection. If members experience a claim, USAA is by their side to help them get back on track quickly.

In addition to its service and products, USAA expanded its proactive outreach in 2025, reaching nearly 3 million policyholders with personalized guidance to help them manage their insurance costs, identify ways to save money and take proactive steps to prevent loss.
