LOS ANGELES, Sept. 5, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — UNINTERRUPTED, the award-winning storytelling brand founded by LeBron James and Maverick Carter within Fulwell Entertainment, today announced a new collaboration with global hiring platform Indeed, the world’s #1 job site, along with the LeBron James Family Foundation (LJFF), to launch a national campaign championing skills-first hiring. The initiative aims to provide tools and resources that empower individuals to showcase their skills regardless of background or experience. Aligned with Indeed’s mission to help people get jobs, this joint effort is a powerful step toward advancing economic mobility, promoting equity, and expanding opportunities for career professionals regardless of their backgrounds.

The campaign officially kicks off today with the debut of a national commercial spot narrated by broadcasting legend Ernie Johnson Jr., offering a reflection on what happens when talent and hard work go unseen. Told through the lens of LeBron James’ own career journey, the spot imagines a world where, even after putting in the work, his skills are never recognized, mirroring the reality faced by millions of job seekers today.

“In the work my Foundation does to support families with resources like education and job training, we’ve seen how people can thrive when they’re given an opportunity,” said LeBron James. “I’m excited about this campaign with UNINTERRUPTED and Indeed that will hopefully open more doors for people to have that chance to show their skills and experience, which is incredibly valuable.”

“We believe people should be hired for what they can do, not just their credentials,” said James Whitemore, CMO of Indeed. “By teaming up with UNINTERRUPTED and the LeBron James Family Foundation, we’re using the power of storytelling to highlight how lived experience and practical skills can lead to real career opportunities — and giving people the resources to seize them.

Following the commercial, UNINTERRUPTED and Indeed will debut The Main Thing, a new four-part limited series led by LeBron James, premiering October 1 on UNINTERRUPTED’s YouTube channel. In the series, James sits down with cultural icons and innovators including skateboarding legend Tony Hawk, multi-hyphenate entertainer Teyana Taylor, digital creator Marques Brownlee (MKBHD), and fashion designer Melody Ehsani, to explore how skills honed through life experience, hard work, and creativity open doors across industries. Through candid, in-depth conversations and hands-on challenges, each episode challenges the traditional over-reliance on college degrees as the sole measure of career readiness and potential.

Additional campaign touchpoints include: integrating Indeed’s job-matching technology, career tools, and skills training with LJFF’s education and workforce development programs; launching an online job seeker resource portal in partnership with Indeed’s Job Seeker Academy this October; and hosting an in-person Job Event at House Three Thirty in Akron, Ohio, including skills training and career development workshops.
