Stella Mental Health Acquires Bespoke Treatment, Expands Services in Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 8, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — As the nation prepares to recognize Suicide Prevention Week (September 7–13), Stella Mental Health, a national leader in interventional psychiatry, today announced the acquisition of Bespoke Treatment, a Joint Commission accredited integrative mental health facility based in Los Angeles, CA. Founded in 2019 by neuroscientist Ben Spielberg, Bespoke Treatment has become known for its comprehensive and personalized approach to mental health care, offering both traditional psychiatric services and advanced interventional treatments that complement a 5-star patient experience rarely seen in behavioral health.

Bespoke Treatment provides a full spectrum of services, ranging from general psychiatry and psychotherapy to personalized Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), Spravato®, IV ketamine, and intensive outpatient programming (IOP). With this acquisition, Stella Mental Health will add the Dual Sympathetic Reset Stellate Ganglion Block (DSR-SGB)—an innovative treatment for trauma-related symptoms—to the list of therapies available to patients in Los Angeles and Santa Monica.

“At Stella, we are dedicated to advancing mental health care through innovation, compassion, and proven science,” said Michael Gershenzon, CEO of Stella Mental Health. “Bespoke Treatment has built an outstanding reputation for highly personalized and effective care, and we’re excited to bring our expertise in advanced treatment protocols, including the stellate ganglion block, to patients across Los Angeles County. Together, we will continue expanding access to life-changing care in California and beyond.”

Ben Spielberg, M.S., founding neuroscientist of Bespoke Treatment, said, “Bespoke was born out of a fractured mental health system that didn’t serve patients in our community. Patients were referred from one provider to another and forced to suffer through long waiting lists and out-of-network claims. Our mission has always been to provide the best mental healthcare imaginable, and our partnership with Stella doubles down on that model. By working with an interdisciplinary team of caring providers and adding DSR-SGB, we’re finally able to create the most individualized treatment plans for our patients.”

The acquisition also highlights the leadership of Dr. Nima Fahimian, Chief Medical Officer at Bespoke Treatment, who will continue to play a central role in clinical care and innovation. Dr. Fahimian is triple board-certified in Psychiatry, Addiction Medicine, and Integrative and Holistic Medicine, and has served as Medical Director at Cedars-Sinai and as Chief Psychiatrist at VA medical centers. Currently, he continues his work at the VA, where he clinically recommends stellate ganglion block as a groundbreaking treatment for veterans living with symptoms of PTSD and trauma. His frontline experience in treating service members and Veterans uniquely positions him to integrate this innovative therapy into Stella’s expanded California operations.

Together, Stella Mental Health will continue to advance what’s possible in psychiatry—uniting traditional care, effective therapies, and evidence-based treatments to deliver the best outcomes for patients.

Stella Mental Health currently operates across the U.S.—including Encinitas and Irvine, CA; Oak Park and Westmont, IL; Boston, MA; five locations throughout Utah and more than 10 certified DSR-SGB partner sites—providing specialized care for symptoms of post-traumatic stress, anxiety, and depression. With more than 20 locations nationwide and international clinics in Israel and Australia, Stella has helped over 30,000 patients reclaim their lives through effective, evidence-based treatments.
