Shoot 360 Unveils Ballislife League, First-of-Its-Kind Basketball Global Shooting Competition with $20,000 Prize Pool

Registration Opens September 8 for Six-Week Competition Featuring NBA Stars

VANCOUVER, Wash., Sept. 4, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — Shoot 360, the leader in technology-powered basketball training, today announced the launch of the Shoot 360 x Ballislife League — a global, multiplayer skill-based shooting competition that blends online and in-facility play. Designed for hoopers of all levels, the league features a four-quarter game format that tracks individual and team performance in real time with live scoreboards and leaderboards. Players and teams can climb the rankings as the action unfolds, with a $20,000 total prize pool up for grabs when league play tips off October 8, 2025.

The league aims to turn basketball lovers into influencers through the power of the massive Ballislife media platform. Teams will not only compete against each other in the tech-powered challenges, but also NBA pros and top NIL athletes, including players like Fred Jones, Zaza Pachulia and Craig Hodges who will be competing.

“We’re changing the game with the launch of this shooting competition,” said Bryce White, Shoot 360 Leagues Commissioner. “There’s no running, no refs and no defense. We’ve taken all the best parts of the game to create a battle of pure shooting skill to find the best shooting talent in cities across North America.”

How the Shoot 360 x Ballislife League Works

Starting September 8, players aged 14+ can register teams of three through the Shoot 360 app (available on the App Store and Google Play) or at shoot360.com/bil to compete at participating Shoot 360 locations. The inaugural season runs six weeks—five weeks of regular play followed by one week of playoffs—with one 60-minute game per week scheduled at each team’s local center.

Every matchup uses standardized shot maps and sequences, and each rep is quantified by Shoot 360’s proprietary technology—capturing arc, depth, accuracy, and makes—to produce objective scores that roll up to real-time national leaderboards.

Top performers advance to a postseason phase on Nov. 12, 2025, where champions are crowned.

Prizes & Recognition

Teams compete for a $20,000 total prize pool, including $10,000 (1st), $3,000 (2nd), $2,000 (3rd), $1,000 (Most Valuable Shooter), and $1,000 each for Tier Champions (Tiers 2–5), plus 1-of-1 Ballislife gear, potential features on Ballislife’s channels (YouTube, TikTok, IG), placement on Shoot 360’s national leaderboards, and local center highlights.

Why It’s Different

The Shoot 360 x Ballislife League isn’t a traditional 5-on-5 basketball game. It’s the first global shooting league built to find the best shooting talent in your city and in the world. The tech-powered challenges test shooting range, precision and clutch factor and will allow a professional player in Los Angeles to stack up against a high school hooper in Minneapolis—no flights required. Integrated appearances from NBA pros and leading NIL athletes aim to bring inspiration and visibility to local competitors, while Ballislife’s media platform will connect the competition to the broader basketball culture fans love.

“The Ballislife League is the perfect expression of what Shoot 360 was built to do – make elite basketball training and competition accessible to everyone, everywhere,” said Craig Moody, Shoot 360 Founder and President. “This league represents the future of the game: measurable, connected and open to everyone.”

Added Matt Rodriguez, CEO of Ballislife: “Ballislife was created on the idea of showcasing all things basketball from dunking, streetball, 1v1, high school, college, pro and now the Shoot360 Global shooting league. We are hyped to be a part of something that showcases a part of the game that has become so popular over the last decade plus – shooting. Now it’s time to get off your phones and show us what you got!”
