Industry veteran promoted from within to lead the company’s next phase of growth
PRINCETON, N.J., Sept. 4, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — SciTec, a leader in the development of National Security solutions in missile warning, missile defense, and other warfighter-enabling capabilities, today announced the promotion of David Simenc to President. In his new role, Simenc will lead the company’s overall operations. Jim Lisowski, former President, will remain as CEO.
“I’ve had the privilege of working with David since he joined SciTec nearly thirteen years ago and have complete confidence in his ability to lead our company,” said Lisowski. “David has the leadership, strategic planning, and customer engagement skills; commitment to mission and employees; and focus to organize, prioritize, and execute for us today and well into the future.”
Simenc brings two decades of experience in the national security arena, demonstrating a keen ability to quickly grasp technical and operational challenges, develop robust solutions, and lead teams to successful execution. His strategic focus has been instrumental in growing SciTec’s market presence from an innovation engine to a prime contractor on large-scale programs, including successfully leading SciTec’s expansion into the U.S. Space Force and the capture of Space Systems Command’s FORGE mission processing initiatives.
Simenc started at SciTec in 2012 as a Staff Engineer and has held technical, project management, and portfolio leadership positions within the organization focused on delivery of SciTec technologies into warfighting operations. Most recently he served as Vice President of SciTec’s Defense, Intelligence, and Space Solutions (DISS) Business Area comprised over 300 professionals focused on delivering critical mission data processing applications for National Security customers. Before SciTec, Simenc began his career at Northrop Grumman Xontech Systems as an R&D Engineer.
As President, Simenc will ensure SciTec continues to deliver on its customers’ missions by effectively organizing the company for success on extremely challenging and critical programs. Simenc will continue to serve as FORGE Chief Architect for the company.
