Miller Fair Henry Honored Again in Best Law Firm Rankings

East Texas boutique recognized for excellence in intellectual property, patent law

LONGVIEW, Texas–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Miller Fair Henry PLLC, whose attorneys this year have assisted in achieving almost a billion dollars in intellectual property verdicts for plaintiffs in the Eastern District of Texas, has been selected as a regional Tier One firm in the 2026 edition of Best Law Firms.

The firm received the highest possible rating for the East Texas market for excellence in intellectual property and patent law litigation.

In recent trials, Miller Fair Henry lawyers have collaborated with lead counsel in directing strategy, jury selection, and witness testimony, resulting in eight- and nine-figure jury verdicts on behalf of technology firms facing off against industry giants such as Samsung and Verizon.

“Each jurisdiction has its own preferences and procedures that may be unfamiliar to attorneys who may not routinely practice in the Eastern District,” said partner Andrea Fair. “We collaborate with those firms to provide our local knowledge and trial skills and deliver winning strategies for the client, and we are pleased to be recognized by Best Law Firms for our success.”

In September and October, Miller Fair Henry assisted lead plaintiffs’ counsel in obtaining a judgment for $524 million in two cases involving Samsung, and a July jury trial ended with a $175 million judgment in a patent infringement case against Verizon. In each case, the trial team included Ms. Fair, who was inducted this year into the International Society of Barristers, an organization reserved for the world’s most distinguished trial lawyers.

A firm must have at least one attorney listed in The Best Lawyers in America guide to be considered for Best Law Firms. Charles Everingham IV, a former magistrate judge in the Eastern District, who holds of counsel status with the firm, was ranked by The Best Lawyers in America publication as the region’s Lawyer of the Year for patent litigation.

Former U.S. District Judge T. John Ward, who also holds of counsel duties with the firm, and name partner Claire Abernathy Henry, together with Ms. Fair, were the firm’s four Best Lawyers honorees for 2026.

Based in Longview, Texas, Miller Fair Henry is a trial law firm with a proven track record in high-stakes intellectual property disputes, commercial litigation and personal legal services. The firm’s attorneys are frequently called on by lawyers nationwide to assist with complex litigation before Texas juries. Learn more at millerfairhenry.com/
