Main Street Sports Group Names Jo Sauer as General Counsel of FanDuel Sports Network

SOUTHPORT, Conn.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Main Street Sports Group, owner of FanDuel Sports Network, today announced that Jo Sauer will join its senior leadership team, serving as General Counsel, effective April 7.

As General Counsel, Ms. Sauer will partner with business leaders across the organization to help shape and execute FanDuel Sports Network’s legal, business, and operational strategies. She will oversee the network’s legal team, providing corporate governance and counsel on all legal matters, including team and league rights management, distribution, privacy, intellectual property, labor and employment, and mergers and acquisitions. Ms. Sauer will report to Main Street Sports Group’s Chief Executive Officer, David Preschlack.

In this role, she supported the company on complex mergers, acquisitions, and strategic investments, as well as providing legal counsel on high-profile transactions critical to Thermo Fisher’s growth strategy. Prior to her time at Thermo Fisher, she spent over seven years in mergers and acquisitions with Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP, as a corporate associate.
