STARKE, Fla.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–#bank–DLP Bank, a Bradford County-headquartered bank, announced today that Larry J. Hickernell, Jr. has been named Chief Lending Officer & St. Augustine Market President.

During his nearly decade-long tenure at DLP Capital, Hickernell was instrumental in expanding the firm’s investor base, which grew from roughly 100 investors to over 3,600+ investors as of June of this year. “Cultivating deep, multigenerational relationships centered around candid conversations about legacy and impact is how we helped families thrive at DLP Capital, and I look forward to providing that same level of client service at DLP Bank,” says Hickernell.
In his new role at DLP Bank, Hickernell will lead market strategy and oversee operations for the bank’s St. Augustine region and across DLP’s overall client base. His primary focus will be to drive profitable loan and deposit growth through strategic business development and lending oversight. Additionally, he will be dedicated to building strong relationships with both customers and the community.
