Kiswe Expands Its Product Suite with Cloud-Based Platform Kiswe Core, the Backbone for Next-Generation Streaming Distribution

The addition of a digital distribution product to its existing direct-to-consumer streaming toolbox allows Kiswe customers to deliver content to any fan, on any screen, and now on any platform.

NEW PROVIDENCE, N.J.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–#APAC–Kiswe, the global leader in streaming technology and services, today announced the launch of Kiswe Core, a next-generation cloud-based platform designed to simplify the streaming distribution process for the modern content owner. Built to allow premier content owners to automatically encode, format, authenticate, and reliably deliver multiple streams for each of their distribution partners from a single source feed, the debut of Kiswe Core marks the next phase in the company’s evolution, building on its success in cloud-based production tools and district-to-consumer (D2C) streaming partnerships.

Additionally, Kiswe’s D2C suite of solutions will now be packaged into its new Kiswe Connect product. Alongside Kiswe Core, these two flagship product offerings form the foundation of Kiswe’s end-to-end streaming technology ecosystem. Designed to deliver flawless streaming at any scale, these products give customers the flexibility to reach audiences directly through their own branded Kiswe-powered platform or through third-party exhibitors, including linear broadcast, social media, movie theaters, and major streaming platforms.

Kiswe Core was developed in response to partners needing a more reliable and streamlined way to distribute content beyond Kiswe-powered experiences. After experiencing Kiswe Connect’s ability to scale reliably on D2C projects, many of Kiswe’s clients requested access to the underlying streaming technology to deliver content to other platforms.

“We have a need to render live analytics dashboards created with rapidly moving 3D graphics into broadcast quality TV signals,” says Christopher Jackson, Head of Digital Data and Analytics, working with the largest sporting event in the world in Italy next year. “Kiswe Core was able to solve our needs and meet all our requirements with respect to video quality, latency, and reliability.”

Additionally, by offering a full cloud-based distribution platform, Kiswe Core solves a significant pain point for the modern content owner. As the number of streaming destinations continues to grow, content owners bear the burden of dealing with a variety of technical processes and service providers to deliver streams formatted to access each new outlet. Kiswe Core provides customers with a centralized platform that can generate and deliver conditioned feeds automatically to any number of distributors from a single source feed, streamlining the process for content owners and saving them both time and money.

The technology has proven successful at scale by global cinema leader CJ 4DPLEX, part of South Korea’s CJ Group. CJ 4DPLEX used Kiswe Core to deliver the live broadcast of the 2024 Shinhan SOL Bank KBO Korean Series through its SCREENX theaters, which feature screens extending the viewing field across front and side walls, creating an immersive 270-degree experience. Kiswe Core delivered the championship baseball game in real time to more than 100 of these notable SCREENX theaters, where fans could watch the main action on the center screen. At the same time, synchronized crowd and field views extended across the side walls, immersing theater audiences in the same live, fan-charged atmosphere as the stadium.

“With Kiswe Core, we can stream ultra low-latency 4K video and synchronize multiple camera feeds perfectly across our global network,” said David Song, Head of the Original Content Production Team at CJ Group. “It is more than technology. It is what turned our vision of live cinematic events into reality.”

The same versatility that powered CJ 4DPLEX’s live broadcasts now drives Kiswe Core’s broader mission to help content owners efficiently scale their distribution to reach any fan on any screen. Built for reliability at any scale, Kiswe Core automates the expensive, time-consuming responsibility of generating multiple unique streams, streamlining the production and distribution process in real time. Whether delivering to OTT platforms, theaters, or social destinations, Kiswe Core ensures flawless delivery and uninterrupted performance.

“Every stream. Every platform. Every time. That is what Kiswe Core stands for,” said Glenn Booth, CEO of Kiswe. “It brings the precision of broadcast together with the scalability of the cloud, giving our partners total control over their media distribution and the confidence to deliver perfect streams anywhere.”

The debut of Kiswe Core comes in the middle of another banner year for Kiswe Connect, which continues to power major D2C projects for partners across sports, creators, and music, both deepening relationships with existing customers and supporting new events like the global livestream of Black Sabbath’s final concert, which reached over 250 thousand fans worldwide during the ten-hour show.

“Kiswe Connect continues to empower sports teams, leagues, artists, and creators to take control of their brand and business through fully branded D2C platforms and events,” added Booth. “Together, Kiswe Connect and Kiswe Core make Kiswe the global leader in streaming technology and services, providing customers a flexible and reliable way to deliver content anywhere.”
