Flagship Casa Herbalife Program supports over 165 nonprofits across 60 countries and territories through community-based partnerships
LOS ANGELES–(BUSINESS WIRE)–The Herbalife Family Foundation (HFF), a global nonprofit fueled by Herbalife Independent Distributors and employees, today announced it has awarded $5 million in grants through its Casa Herbalife Program to over 165 nonprofit organizations across 60 countries and territories. The funding will help expand access to nutritious meals, educational resources, and safe, supportive environments for underserved children and families.
Casa Herbalife Program grants are made possible through the continued support of Herbalife’s Independent Distributors and employees. Together, they help power HFF’s mission to uplift communities and strengthen long-term, locally led partnerships. This year’s funding is expected to benefit more than 200,000 children worldwide.
“We believe every person deserves the opportunity to thrive and build a better future,” said Rob Levy, Herbalife Family Foundation board member and Herbalife president. “We are inspired by our distributor community and employees who come together year after year to act upon that belief and create lasting impact in communities around the world.”
The Casa Herbalife Program, launched in 1998, is the foundation’s flagship initiative and was inspired by Herbalife Founder Mark Hughes and his belief that every child deserves access to proper nutrition and a nurturing place to grow. “Casa” means “home” in Spanish, symbolizing a space of safety, care and belonging. Each Casa partnership is designed to create a trusted, family-like environment where children receive not only meals and education but also emotional and social support to help them thrive. The program supports a wide network of local organizations, including schools, orphanages, hospitals and community centers. Through these partnerships, HFF delivers sustainable and culturally relevant solutions that improve childhood development and overall well-being.
Since its founding in 1994, HFF has contributed more than $60 million to nonprofit partners around the world. The foundation’s work is grounded in a commitment to nourish lives and empower communities.
