The new Vervo Motorized Traverse French Pole seamlessly blends elegance with modern automation, offering designers the best of both worlds.
CHANDLER, Ariz., Sept. 19, 2025 /PRNewswire/ —Ā Helser Brothers, a premier manufacturer of custom drapery hardware showcases, the innovative Motorized French Pole at the Custom Workroom Conference (CWC) 2025.
The Motorized French Pole was engineered for the growing number of designers and homeowners who are choosing motorized solutions for their window treatments, but also want the elegant look of a traditional French return. Its full French return helps to block side light exposure and ensure greater privacy. Unlike other traverse French poles with pre-cut, pre-bent return arms, the patent pending MFP is crafted in a single piece with a customizable return. This eliminates distracting splice seams and provides greater design flexibility.
The motor is installed directly without splicing and sits discreetly behind the rod, making it easy to conceal and allowing for a reduced minimum return of just 4 inches. This design preserves the clean, traditional silhouette designers love while integrating modern automation. Additionally, workrooms will not have to account for larger pleats in their fabric to hide a motor that is connected to the end of the rod. This system allows for the face width of the rod to be the length of the fabric used. Every detail of the design was considered, including CNC milling the motor mount and return pulley from solid commercial aluminum to make sure that it can be finished in the same color as the rod. Even though the mounts are hidden in the back, the details matter.
“We’re thrilled to introduce this new product that is a perfect blend of tradition and motorization for today’s designers,” said Thomas Berry, CEO of Helser Brothers. “Designers no longer have to choose between a classic French return aesthetic and the functionality of motorization. With the Vervo Motorized French Pole, they get both without compromise. This is a significant step in our goal to bring more advanced, yet beautifully designed, motorized solutions to market.”
Helser Brothers invites attendees of CWC 2025 to see the Motorized French Pole in person at their booth #1 and #2 in Kingsport, TN, on September 24th.
