Consumers Trade in Over 100 Failed Wellness Hacks for Bragg® ACV on National Apple Cider Vinegar Day

Visitors to the Santa Monica Pier Embrace Time-Tested Apple Cider Vinegar Over Fleeting Wellness Fads

SANTA BARBARA, Calif., Sept. 25, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — Bragg Live Food Products, Inc. (“Bragg”), the pioneer of Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV), is celebrating the success of its inaugural “Trendy Trade-In” pop-up event held on National Apple Cider Vinegar Day at Santa Monica Pier on September 23, 2025. The activation marked the launch of Bragg’s new campaign, A Dose of What Works, designed to inspire Americans to move past fleeting wellness fads and embrace time-tested wellness staples like Bragg ACV.

From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. PDT, the pop-up welcomed more than 225 visitors, who eagerly swapped unused, trend-driven wellness products for Bragg’s trusted core Apple Cider Vinegar. In total, 122 wellness trends were “traded in” and more than 210 Bragg products were given away, along with Bragg swag and wellness tips to help guests build sustainable, lasting routines.

“Our first-ever ‘Trendy Trade-In’ proved that people are eager to move beyond fleeting fads and reconnect with simple, proven wellness practices,” said Linda Boardman, CEO of Bragg Live Food Products. “At Bragg, we’ve always believed that wellness doesn’t need to be complicated to be effective. Seeing the crowd and enthusiasm at our National Apple Cider Vinegar Day pop-up event showed us that consumers aren’t just listening, they’re ready to take action and restart their wellness routines with Bragg.”

The event also underscored findings from a new Bragg survey, which revealed that one in four Americans waste $500 or more annually on short-lived wellness products. Gen Z and Millennials emerged as the biggest wellness spenders, and the biggest regretters, while Boomers continue to embrace tried-and-true fundamentals like sleep and walking. These insights reaffirm Bragg’s mission to help people focus on wellness habits that are simple, accessible, and backed by science.
