Berkley One Classics Announces Enhanced Collector Vehicle Coverage in Five States

MORRISTOWN, N.J.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Berkley One (a Berkley Company), an insurance provider serving modern, sophisticated individuals and families, is rolling out new enhancements to its Berkley One Classics collector vehicle insurance in Connecticut, Illinois, Massachusetts, New York, and Texas. Marking 51 years of dedication to the collector car community, the business continues to evolve its offerings to deliver leading-edge coverage and customizable options. Beginning today, the updated policy brings expanded coverage, refined contract provisions, and innovative endorsement options designed to meet the unique needs of collectors across these states.

The base contract has been refined to better align with modern collector needs. The form has been updated to expand the time limit for Newly Acquired collector vehicles from 30 days to 60 days, remove the vermin exclusion, and add coverage for Disaster Relocation, up to $500 per vehicle with a maximum of $5,000 per policy period.

Alongside these contract changes, Berkley One Classics is introducing new endorsements that allow collectors to customize their protection. The Salvage Value Endorsement allows insureds to retain vehicle salvage up to $50,000 in the event of a total covered loss. The One Value Endorsement offers bundled coverage for collector essentials, including car covers, post-loss trailering, automotive tools, personal effects, and valuable vehicle papers.

“Our goal is to give collectors confidence that their vehicles are protected in ways that reflect both their passion and the realities of today’s market,” said Kathleen Tierney, President of Berkley One. “By expanding options and refining coverage, we’re making it easier for clients to help safeguard what matters most to them.”

Today, Berkley One Classics provides collector vehicle insurance in Arizona, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New York, North Dakota, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, Wisconsin, and Wyoming. The expanded coverage has been introduced in nine states: Arizona, Connecticut, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, Michigan, New York, Pennsylvania, and Texas, with more to follow.
