Erik Salo brings more than 30 years of leadership across data centers and enterprise storage. Before joining VDURA, he served as Vice President of Products and Markets at Seagate, where he oversaw the multibillion‑dollar Enterprise portfolio. During his 11‑year tenure, he helped establish Seagate as the 8th largest direct‑branded storage systems provider globally by building a direct systems channel. His accomplishments include launching the CORVAULT product line, contributing to the IT4.0 initiative, and playing key roles in the strategic acquisitions of Xyratex, Dothill, and Evault.
Erik previously served as Chief Strategist for AMD’s computing group, led AMD’s embedded computing business, and headed National Semiconductor’s Information Appliance division. His background also includes senior technical marketing roles at National Semiconductor and Cyrix.
