Proven channel executive joins Machine IAM leader to strengthen global partner ecosystem and scale Certificate Lifecycle Management and PKIaaS offerings
NEW YORK–(BUSINESS WIRE)–#CLM—AppViewX, a leader in automated certificate lifecycle management (CLM) and public key infrastructure (PKI) software, today announced the appointment of Troy Dankworth as Vice President of Global Channels & Partnerships. In this role, Troy will accelerate global partner growth, deepen strategic alliances, and scale AppViewX’s channel ecosystem to meet rising demand for enterprise-grade machine identity orchestration, private PKI modernization, and crypto-agility solutions.
The appointment builds on recent AppViewX executive hires, including Paul Trulove as CPO and Madhu Venkatarajan as CTO, and underscores the company’s commitment to executing its growth strategy and scaling the business for long-term success.
“As organizations grapple with shrinking TLS certificate lifecycles and emerging quantum risks, Troy brings to AppViewX a proven track record for building world-class channel programs for the leading names in cybersecurity and enterprise software,” said Stephen Tarleton, Chief Operating Officer of AppViewX. “He has consistently delivered double-digit growth and created partner ecosystems that served as a force multiplier for customer success and global expansion.”
AppViewX is doubling down on channel expansion and global growth with this new appointment. Troy, who joins AppViewX from Keyfactor where he served as Vice President of Channels, has held leadership roles at SolarWinds, Snow Software, and NetApp. Throughout his career, he has transformed channel organizations into high-performance growth engines and has previously been recognized as a CRN Channel Chief.
“AppViewX is at a market inflection point. As one of the few partner-first vendors in the machine identity space, service providers are central to our growth strategy,” said Troy Dankworth, VP of Global Channels & Partnerships at AppViewX. “Working closely with our partners, we can scale faster, unlock new opportunities for their business, and deliver greater value to customers. My focus will be on building a high-performance ecosystem that not only accelerates AppViewX’s global reach but also helps partners grow their revenues by solving critical machine identity and certificate lifecycle challenges.”
The appointment of Troy Dankworth comes at a time of significant momentum for AppViewX, as the company continues to expand globally and address rising demand for securing machine identities with significantly shorter certificate lifecycle mandates on the horizon. These include the industry’s shift from 398-day TLS certificates to just 90 days under CA/Browser Forum and browser root program requirements, as well as active discussions around even shorter validity periods. These changes are forcing enterprises to rethink certificate lifecycle management to maintain compliance and avoid costly outages.
