2025 Avetta Summit Series Arrives in Sydney to Help APAC Customers Achieve Confidence Beyond Compliance

Taking place 21-22 October, the event will feature expert insights, hands-on training and networking for safety, supply chain and sustainability leaders

SYDNEY–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Avetta®, the leading provider of supply chain risk management (SCRM) software, will conclude its 2025 Avetta Summit Series of customer events with the Asia-Pacific conference in Sydney, Australia 21-22 October 2025. Under the theme Confidence Beyond Compliance, the summit will bring together leaders in health, safety and environment (HSE); procurement; and environmental, social and governance (ESG) to explore how organisations can move beyond simply meeting regulatory requirements to unlock efficiency, stronger partnerships and proactive risk management.

“At Avetta, we succeed when our customers succeed,” said Abid Yousuf, Chief Customer Officer at Avetta. “The Avetta Summit Series is all about listening, learning and leading together. Sydney marks the final stop in our 2025 journey, and it’s a powerful opportunity to connect with our APAC community, share best practices and explore how confidence beyond compliance can drive real transformation across safety, supply chain and sustainability performance.”

Coinciding with National Safe Work Month, the event will take place at the Hilton Sydney Hotel where attendees will benefit from keynote presentations and practical breakout sessions on a wide range of topics, such as worksite safety, operational excellence and the future of contractor risk management. Keynote speakers include:

  • Dawn Andre, Chief Product Officer at Avetta
  • Katie Martin, Director, Sustainability and Innovation at Avetta
  • Matt Schläpfer, Senior Consultant at Fisher Improvement Technologies

There will also be expert panels featuring Avetta customers—including Ausgrid, Rio Tinto and David Jones—who will share firsthand experiences on creating confidence beyond compliance.

“We’re very excited to bring the Avetta community together in Sydney,” said Luke Boyle, Vice President of Operations, APAC at Avetta. “In a time of rapidly evolving regulatory, environmental and safety expectations, it’s not enough to simply meet standards. Organisations must seek to lead, innovate and build resilient systems that protect people, performance and the planet. A great place to start is talking honestly about the challenges we’re all facing. There’s so much value in sharing ideas face-to-face, and I think all our attendees will walk away with fresh perspectives and practical tools they can put to work straight away.”

In addition, Avetta will use the occasion to announce its 2025 APAC customer award winners from among a strong group of finalists. The Awards honour companies and individuals across the APAC region leading the way in HSE, ESG and contractor risk management.

Attendees will also be among the first to see the full findings of Avetta’s latest report: Making Every Job Safe, Every Day: Why Australian Workplaces Must Have Confidence Beyond Compliance. Based on a nationwide survey of more than 500 Australian workers in high-risk industries, the study paints a picture of modern workplaces where confidence outpaces reality.
