Abidin Gokhan Celebi is a mathematician, technology evangelist, and entrepreneur. He is also the holder of Tier 1 Exceptional Talent Visa given to world leaders in digital technology and by UK's one of the most prominent tech bodies, Tech Nation. He is the founder of isbir.org which was funded by the world's biggest technical association-IEEE and its branch IEEE Foundation and for 440K USD. He established the first and during its time the only deep R&D focused incubation center of Turkey in Istanbul. He led the internationalization effort of YFYI accelerator program which he started to initiate in cooperation with the Draper University of San Mateo, IE Business School of Spain and UC Berkeley of USA. YFYI accelerator is first of its kind for Turkey and 30 startups had a chance to internationalize their businesses in Silicon Valley and 19 of them secured early-stage funding.
After spending 12 years for pre-incubation, incubation and accelerator programs, he decided to become a serial entrepreneur and took part in Delphisonic (Detecting problems in mechanical systems in advance with utilizing AI) where he made the company to value for 5M USD with doubling revenue within a year, filed a patent in the US, graduated from 3 international accelerators (GCIP of United Nations in Los Angeles, Startupbootcamp of Berlin in Germany and Wayra Intelligent Mobility of UK) and named it as 1 of the 9 startups in the world who will disrupt railway industry in the future according to StartUS magazine. He exited in Round B to focus on Reengen (Machine Learning and Cloud-Based Energy Efficiency Platform for Utilities/Commercial Buildings) in Energy Sector. He currently serves as the VP of International Growth operations for Reengen which recently received funding from Capria Ventures (US) and Ida Capital and look for international growth in EUROPE and MENA regions.
He has graduated from the ODTU which is among the world's best 60 universities by Times Higher Education Index. He completed the Executive MBA of Sabanci School of Management and has a diploma from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) with a focus on innovation and entrepreneurship. He has a certificate for the coaching of entrepreneurs given by the International Coaching Federation (ICF). He loves reading about history & innovation and dealing with social media. He is an addicted football statistician.
