SAN FRANCISCO, Oct. 15, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — Kong Inc., a leading developer of cloud API and AI technologies, announced at API Summit 2025 that Kong Event Gateway will be available Q4 2025 as part of Kong Konnect, the unified API and AI platform. This release will enable developers to expose, manage, and secure real-time event streams from Apache Kafka® as Konnect-managed APIs and services.
While streaming data holds enormous potential for enterprises, the complexity and cost of productizing it for different teams, services and customers can be a barrier. Event Gateway helps to remove those barriers by providing one unified workspace to build, govern, secure, expose, and publish Kafka event data just like you can with APIs.
