The question of whether their architecture would involve a direct connection between a cloud system and their sensitive customer databases, seating within their corporate networks, must be answered, or if they would opt for the more secure and privacy-conscious route of building dedicated, anonymized data repositories for AI training and development. This must still be balanced with a seamless and intuitive user experience. This balance is particularly important for estate planning services where secure beneficiary access is a major concern since heirs or executors require timely access to confidential information. Verifiable identity checks and secure, multi-factor-protected channels are therefore crucial to help ensure that only authorized individuals view critical data. Additionally, educating clients about emerging cyber threats, along with offering guidelines on safeguarding credentials and devices, can further reduce the likelihood of breaches.
