As executive vice president, corporate development, Giles will continue leading the organization’s strategy and inorganic growth initiatives, overseeing the mergers and acquisitions function, including pipeline development, strategic evaluation, deal structure, valuation, due diligence and negotiation. Working as a member of the executive team, in close partnership with the board of directors, regional leadership and functional teams, Giles has been instrumental in expanding Core & Main’s product and service offerings across both new and existing markets. Core & Main has completed more than 30 acquisitions under Giles’ leadership since he joined the company in March 2018, deploying approximately $1.6 billion of capital.
