DENVER, Feb. 27, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — Valid Eval, a provider of secure SaaS platform solutions that manage complex group evaluations, today announced the U.S. Army has implemented an enterprise licensing agreement to support all of the U.S. Army’s SBIR, STTR and prize competition activities. Under this SBIR Phase III contract, Valid Eval may now provide its platform on a licensed basis with a ceiling of up to $1.5M through March 2026.
“As we continue to serve the Federal government by providing flexible, streamlined technology that drives efficiency and reduces the burden of expertly evaluating proposals from industry, this new way of doing business provides a new path for government to buy our software and meet them at their point of need,” said Adam Rentschler, CEO of Valid Eval. “This is how we can align the needs of our government customers with providing the best capability at scale.”
Since 2019, Army Research Lab and Assistant Secretary of the Army for Acquisition, Logistics, and Technology have used Valid Eval as its source selection tool for technical evaluation support for xTechSearch to help interface with non-traditional technologies that have defense-related applications to solve the top Army Modernization Priorities.
Valid Eval successfully expanded its services to enable a licensing model that serves the customer and lowers the barrier to implementation. The new licensing agreement provides more certainty and transparency while allowing users to customize the tool to their own program requirements.
“This firm-fixed price approach for software deployment, in contrast to open-ended time and materials contracts, provides greater value to the government and puts the focus on outcomes, not inputs. We believe this is the future of defense contracting,” said Rentschler.
